Khalil Malamug, 30, has been involved in the business of barbering for 16 years. Starting professionally at the age of 19 in Dunellen, NJ, Malamug proceeded to take his craft to the next level. While exploring the art of barbering, he would learn from his mistakes and mold them into perfection. He soon realized being a barber was his one true love and passion. During his career, Malamug fell into the hobby of Mixed Martial Arts. He would later carry out his love for exercising through other forms such as Krav Maga, boxing, Muy Thai, and Brazilian Ju Jit Su. With those practices under his belt, he developed a keen sense of discipline and patience. In 2011, Malamug translated that discipline into opening his first barbershop. Since then, he has continued to find success in this business, opening his second shop Razor Sharp Barbershop & Shave Parlor in 2013, and now his third The Wolves Den Barbershop & Supply Co. in 2015. Within the past two years, he has found himself traveling to the West Coast and even across seas to Europe, working along side the biggest names in the industry. Barbers such Paul Hewitt of AONO, Brad “HBAD” of Epicly Tapered, Shane Nesbit of Shane’s Barbershop & Shave Parlor, and many more. Malamug also found and developed a strong relationship with Uppercut Deluxe and became one of their world wide brand ambassadors. The dedication and time he has put into honing his craft displays in the work that has been sought after. Malamug is and forever will be a true barber at heart.
