Lemon Squares
Claim this listingCombine the following into a dough and then pat the dough into the bottom of a 9 x 13” pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 15 minutes.
- 1 cup butter (softened)
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
While the crust is baking, beat the following ingredients together:
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- Zest of 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Spread the mixture onto the baked crust and bake at 300 degrees for approximately 50 minutes. Cool, then sprinkle the top with powdered sugar.
